Welcome to Armagnac Country
According to legend, when God created the world, he realized that he had forgotten a little corner of Gascony and that made him sad. A tear rolled down his cheek and fell on earth, creating the region Armagnac. That tear was the first drop of the famous brandy.

The Armagnac region, whose brandy is known in over 100 countries, is part of the prestigious Sites of Exceptional Culinary Taste (Sites Remarquables du Gout) which glorify the pair area of production/culinary product. Producers enjoy welcoming you and demonstrating their know-how year round (harvest, distillation, tasting).
In the Landes d’Armagnac, discover changing atmospheres where the traditional pine forest meets the rolling hills of Armagnac, where vineyards alternate with the original oak groves. The forest opens up on numerous lagoons and rivers. The half-timbered house from the northern and western Landes stands alongside the local style farms near the vineyards.
Do not forget to visit the Bastides. These medieval towns are built around a town square surrounded by arcades. It is said that Henri IV modeled the Place des Vosges in Paris after one of them. They offer an exceptional setting for numerous events, whether festive or artistic, such as L’Armagnac en Fête which celebrates the end of the harvest and the beginning of the distillation.
